This egg is actually quite beautiful! I was tempted to keep it! The goldtone is still immaculate & bright as if it had never been handled! (Although, it has to have been because I obtained these vintage eggs from someone who inherited them & found them useless to her. She, nor I, knows much about the history of these particular eggs. She received them all in a big boot box, individually wrapped in tissue.)
