This aircraft played an active role during “The Berlin Airlift” since the Soviets 1948 closed off all Berlin ground transport. Supplies to the city was done by air only and lasted until September 1949. It was then the beginning of the Cold War.
This greatly detailed model comes with stand for in-flight display and landing gears for ground display.
Very rare model with certification, it has been discontinued by Corgi.
