Antique New Century Library Vanity Fair by William Thackeray

This book is really unique as it has the original book options when purchasing this book and others from the same publishing company. I am leaving that original paper in the front cover. This book is from Nelson's - New Century Library of India Paper Standard Authors and it is one book that can be tied to an entire series of unique authors. Book was bound in beautiful limp leather and printed on India Paper. This book was sold in a single volume and is the only book from the printing company in this color. Book is in good condition but does show some signs of wear for it's age.

The novel follows the lives of Becky Sharp, a strong-willed, penniless young woman, and her friend Amelia 'Emmy' Sedley, a good-natured wealthy young woman. Set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars, Vanity Fair charts the girls' misadventures in love, marriage and family.
