Beautiful vintage / antique book, Favorite Poems: Selected from English and American Authors , published by Thomas Y Crowell & Co, part of the Red Line Poets Collection. Thetre is no date within but my research dates this as 1883 or 1884. The cover is red leather with beautiful details and the pages have gold gilt ends. Measures approx. 7.25 x 5 . Has lovely illustrations and there are a few old newspaper clippings inside. I'll leave these to go with the book.
Good to great vintage condition. Especially given its age. The red cover of the spine has come away so its bare but seems to be fairly well attached to the inside still. The rest of the cover has typical signs of life and love. Pages are yellowed but appear intact. The newspaper clippings have left some discoloration on the pages they are in between.
