These 41 year old dolls are collectors' pieces. There are 8 dolls in the collection. Famous Americans Series 1 1979 Amelia Earhart, Chief Joseph, Annie Oakley, Babe Ruth and Susan B. Anthony. Holiday Doll The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus and Indian Maiden. Some of the dolls' colors show signs of fading, other dolls look brand new. The dolls all measure at 7 . They all come in there original boxes. Some of the boxes have minor wear and tear. The dolls are in excellent condition - NO RIPS - NO TEARS - NO SIGNS OF WEAR FROM PLAYING.
Hallmark categorized the set as Christmas ornaments although they are proper dolls with no obvious way to hang them on a Christmas tree. They were made in Taiwan from printed fabrics sown together and stuffed with cotton. Some are accented with ribbons and trim. Their labels describes this as All new material - Cotton and Synthetic Fibers .
