Sometimes it takes a week or so to catch your first bee, depending on how many bees are around. Once you catch one
DO NOT remove it from the trap. The pheremones from the dead bee will attract others. The plastic jar unscrews easily to empty it. Our traps are quality made of quality pine wood. You can stain them or just let them naturally turn gray from the weather. Again, the bees don't care. We have several of these around our home and have virtually eliminated our bee problem .
