This is something I bought a long time ago. I have confirmed that the main unit powers on and the charger also powers on. The tape compartment opens and I was able to insert a tape. The autofocus was working, but there are times when it may not focus properly. The viewfinder was also displaying. The battery can be charged and used, but please consider it as a consumable.
Additionally... I will include 2 batteries, 1 hi8 tape, 1 remote control, 1 cap, 1 charger, and 1 composite terminal.
