Full Gallop is an ode to Diana Vreeland’s lifelong love of dance. It was as a young child that Mrs. Vreeland discovered dancing and it gave her a rhythm in the way she spoke and lived her life. Dance was very closely connected to the visual for her and would forever be part of her descriptive language, even to the extent that the mannequins at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum danced with each other in her exhibitions.

Full Gallop strikes an attitude with a hypnotic pas de deux of heliotrope and orris that dance beneath a rich, warm canopy of amber and musk. Moroccan jasmine and coriander are accompanied by an unexpected twist of pepper.
