This is a vintage AC gas locking cap, part number GT 55 6410235. It is new old stock but does show signs of age or wear from being stored in a non-climate controlled environment for many decades. The box shows discoloration, fading, or tears. The gas cap may need a new gasket but the cap seems to be in good shape under the original blue seal that's still covering it but the back side does show some light corrosion. This gas cap can still be used with cleaning and updating but would mainly make a great decorative memorabilia collectible piece for a man cave, shop, garage or home.
