Available is an Original 1st Printing of a Rare 1970's Concert Poster promoting an December series of performances by Gandalf at the Too Bitter Bar in San Marcos, Texas.
What makes this Poster Unique is that is was used as Template for a new updated Too Bitter design.
The Poster measures approx. 9 x 14 and has various issues as seen in the scans.
Definitely a one of a kind.
The Too Bitter Bar was open from 1972-1977 at San Marcos Square. The name came from the term two bits , the amount of money it cost to operate a video game. This was basically a Video arcade bar but they had a good sound system and featured dancing and live entertainment.
They allowed murals tro be painted on the walls of black, green and red moons, watermelons, lips and bananas.
But the most Unusal thing was when it closed in 1977, Marijuana was found growing in the carpet!
