Mads Stage is a famous Danish artist and his pieces capture much the beauty of Denmark.
Mads Stage (6 July 1922 – 28 May 2004) was a Danish artist born in Østerbro, Copenhagen.
Stage is recognized as an esteemed illustrator and artist around the world. He is most well known for his idyllic paintings, but has also designed and illustrated postcards, posters, stamps, books, and porcelain, among other textiles.
Overall in great shape. It does have a bit of puckering that would lay flat with framing.
This piece measures 10 3/4 wide and 14.5 high.
