This playful deci mesh & bow wreath features a dapper Victorian rabbit, Phineus J. Cottontail, whose great-great-great grandson, Peter, will one day become such a beloved bunny folk hero. Phineus has been courting the lovely Petunia if tge Winderland Whites & had hoped to ask her father, the famous Albion White, for permission to wed his daughter. Unfortunately, the eager suitor has had difficulty catching up to the elusive & ever tardy White, & so has now enlisted the aid of the Cheshire Cat.

Worried how Petunia will take the news, Phineus rose at dawn to gather flowers for her bouquet. He has brushed off his top hat, pressed the wrinkles from his flannel trousers & polished the brass buttons on his best blue wool coat. While he cannot march Petunia's illustrious family connections, Cottontail has, through hard work, become a rabbit of means. He hopes his well-run vegetable farm and the recent purchase of a large carrot patch will find favor with father & daughter.
