This is a collection of works by Katsuya Kamo (1965-2020), a hair and makeup artist who thrived on the world stage. It includes numerous headpieces presented on runways, primarily at Paris Fashion Week.

The book is a compilation of art pieces born from collaborations with various fashion houses, captured through Kamo’s own vision. It features around 220 artworks, spanning 22 years of creativity from the 1997 JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARCONS to UNDERCOVER, CHANEL, MINTDESIGNS, and ANREALAGE, culminating in the memoir of his thoughts and experiences up to his illness in 2019. The art book is revived as 'KAMO HEAD'.

Katsuya Kamo was born in Fukuoka in 1965. He started his career in 1988 at Mod’s Hair and worked on runway shows for Paris and Milan collections, as well as hair and makeup for renowned fashion magazines and advertising visuals. He became independent in 2015 when he launched KAMO HEAD . He passed away in February 2020 at the age of 54.
