Vintage Syroco Inc frame with print White-Breasted Nuthatches by Artist Basil Ede (1931-2016). Three white-breasted nuthatches are perched in a dogwood tree in full bloom. The oval 21 x 24.5 frame is heavy molded plastic with a decorative beaded border. The frame closely resembling wood and is imprinted along the back edge with COPYRIGHT MCMLXXXI SYROCO INC MADE IN USA 2112 . (1981frame) The 1968 print is signed by the atist, has been permanantly bonded to the backing, and is protected by a glass-like cover. The signature is covered by the frame. There is a barely noticable faint 2-inch scratch from the tip of one branch to a flower that could have occurred during framing. This is an unusual combination of a Syroco frame and Basil Ede print, resulting in a strinkingly beautiful framed piece of art. Very good condition. See print for details.
