Notable for its Indonesian gold-and-red coloration, this vintage collectible hand-carved and hand-[aonted decorative wooden Balinese demon mask is characterized by its pointed ears, thick and heavy black eyebrows; concentric circles around its wide-open, hallucinogenic eyes; proturberant, upward--thrusting tusks; nostrils on either side of the nose, and wide, gaping red mouth mouth filled with thick, discolored teeth. It has a handsome decorated border in black-and-gold. This is a mask intented for wall display and is at least thirty years old (it's been in seller's possession for at least that long) and is probably considrably older. Its height is 9 , width about 9 1/2 . and its weight before packing is 13.8 oz. A wire is affixed to the back of the mask for hanging.

The mask is in wxcellent conditon, especially considering its age, and is free of defects. No chips, splinters. gouges, scratches, or scrapes. *Packed carefully to ensure delivery to you in described condition.
