Absolutely fabulous vintage 1970s handmade peasant midi dress in a blue and white abstract print. Being handmade it has no size but based on measurements the dress is a Medium: 14 underbust/waist laid flat, 33 waist to bottom hem. Fabric is high-quality rayon crepe. Faux corset tie front chest detail with long tassles. Kimono-style 3/4 sleeves. Side bodice zip. Overhead entry. The draping on this piece is really skilled, from the bodice draping and waist ruching to the gathered pleating in the skirt. Someone knew what they were doing here! This piece is in incredible condition for its age, with no fading, rips, stains, or repairs. One noted flaw: at some point someone zipped a piece of the fabric in the side zipper and there is a small spot of damage near the zipper — See last photo.
