This piece hails from the time when the hotel was still in the hands of its original founders, as after several acquisitions it changed its name to Belmond Reid’s Palace, also known as Reid’s Palace.
The ashtray was manufactured of highest-quality porcelain by famed Vista Alegre of Portugal circa 1950. It features ivy green over white pattern and measures 5 inches in length, 4.75 inches in width, and 1 inch in height.
