Joe Frank McKee-signed white and black horsehair and feather raku pottery vase. The artist is originally from Texas but now operates from his studio in North Carolina.

• Measures approx. 5 ½” W x 4” H
• From the card insert inside the pottery: “Joe Frank McKee creates horsehair raku pottery…. Horsehair raku is created through a technique in which horse hairs and feathers are draped over the pottery while it is still hot. The carbon the hairs and feather leave behind as they burn off inscribe enchanting patterns on this beautiful white clay.”
