Antique late Victorian -- estimated 1880s or 1890s (but I'm not an antique millinery expert!) -- straw bonnet. Fall millinery flower leaves and stems in the rust-colored velvet trim, silky burnt orange ribbon tied. Mesh lining, three tags with numbers attached on the inside ('41', '12', and '23' -- not sure what they refer to!). Great condition. Only noticeable flaw is that the chin strap ribbon has come loose on one side; currently pinned and fully functional.
