Part of the Lake Stone series comes this rarely seen and highly sought after gem stone from the Upper Keewanaw Peninsula in Michigan. This is the state gem of Michigan and known as Michigan Greenstone. It is actually composed of Pumpellyite and Chiastolite. This rare mineral combination is found exclusively on the Michigan Peninsula. It is actually found in the lake. It is now illegal to dig for these stones.
The stone has a chatoyance around the green circles and has a beautiful pattern reminiscent of water patterns.
